Scapa Acrylic foam Tape
- The Duofoam® series of double-coated foam mounting tapes provides excellent
tack, peel, and holding power for industrial mounting, gasketing, spacing,
vibration dampening, and sound attenuation applications.
- They offer excellent gap filling properties and provide a reliable, durable
bond and seal under a variety of conditions.
- Typical applications are mounting emblems, trim and escutcheons, as well
as replacement of rivets and fasteners on metal, glass, and plastic to ensures
an even load distribution at the bondline.
- PE foam tape double-coated with an acrylic(21X2) or rubber(22X2) pressure
sensitive adhesive. Used for window glazing, sound attenuation, mounting and
gasketing
- Excellent initial tack and holding power
- Very strong holding power and shear strength, usually used for interior
and exterior automotive industrial application, especially bonding glass or
mirror.
- Very soft foam, good for using at mismatched substrates
- Soft and durable PU foam tape and used for assembly of electronic components
- Closed cell UV resistants PVC foam, high load bearing applications where
water, air, or dust seals are required
